Born on the westside of Chicago, Il, JaGarrid (JG) Fleming has always had a business owner mentality. Whether it was going door to door selling custom drawings or selling candy at school JG has always entertained the idea of running a business. At the age of 15 he was asked to assist on many carpentry projects which led him to falling in love with real estate and owning property. From that point JG knew he wanted to be a business owner and investor.

Cutting hair since the age of 12 JG decided to attend Cain’s Barber College and Styling straight after high school. Once he decided he wanted to take his skills to the next level, in 2015 he attended Success Barber College where he learned to be more diversified. Since 2016, JG has been cutting hair in the heart of Chicago (the Loop) accommodating men’s hair styles from all over the world. He has cut big names like Chance The Rapper, Horace Grant, Maluma, Allen Robinson and many more.

In July 2023, JG finally got a taste of what he’s always wanted. Ownership. Starting his own shop, naming it none other than “JG’s Barbershop” and continuing to build a brand (JG) that’s been buzzing since 2016. At JG’s we want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable.
